Anna McQuinn, Rosalind Beardshaw

Lulu is really excited! She is off to visit beekeeper Auntie Zora to meet her bees. Lulu wears a special suit so she can get up close: she sees the queen bee, the workers and even the baby bees. She tastes the honey it is sweet and sticky, and delicious. It inspires Lulu to do what she can to help the bees.

It scared me as I got stung by a bee and thought it would help me not too be scared again

She found the book OK. She likes lola as she is a curious person. She would maybe recommend.

Lulu loves bees, she goes to her auntie's house. I recommend the book.

Before reading the book I was not aware that the queen bee makes special smells to instruct the bees what to do and keep them happy and I used to think that bees are happier in the forest rather than the cities. Got to know some amazing facts about the bees. I really liked Lulu in the book- she is just curious as me to learn new things. I would really like other kids to read the book too as it is very informative and fun to read. I will also plant some seeds to welcome the bees at home.

I learned that bees won't sting me if I don't mess with their babies. I never knew that the queen bee gives everyone jobs to do. I would probably recommend it to my friends.

We listened to this online for our bedtime story. It was read by a Carribean lady with an accent.
