Discover the joy of dancing and the importance of family, whatever your culture, ability or style with Luna, by award-winning Children’s Laureate Joseph Coelho, the third book in the Luna Loves… series.
When Luna dances, she feels like the world’s volume turns up, like all colours brighten, like sunlight sparkles behind every cloud. But when she takes her dance exam she ducks, dives, spins and… falls. Luna thinks she can’t be a real dancer now. Can Luna’s family convince her otherwise?
An inspiring story to celebrate every culture and every style of dance, featuring a glorious fold out carnival page, from award-winning Children’s Laureate and poet Joseph Coelho.

Luna danced and becomes a real dancer even though it was hard at the start.
Luna is a very sweet little girl who is normally jolly and happy. Today is the day of her dance exam and she is excited and nervous. Unfortunately, when she tries to do the moves she keeps on falling over and has to watch as all the other students get their certificates. She thinks she will never be a real dancer, so her parents show her lots of other people who dance but don’t have certificates. Luna Loves Dance is a book with some very colourful and bright illustrations. The book is teaching us not giving up on your dreams and not letting one moment in your life stop you from doing what you love. I am sure everybody will love this book. I received this book for free on some event during summer hollidays.
It has very colourful drawings. Luna failed her dance test, and was sad, but she was still dancing with her family for fun and then she could do the dance at the end. I didn't like this book, I think girls and dancers would like it more.
I liked Luna because she was determined to push herself to become the best that she could. I would recommend this book as I was engaged with the story and really enjoyed it.
