Planet Omar: Accidental Trouble Magnet

Zanib Mian, Nasaya Mafaridik

Welcome, readers, to the imaginative brain of Omar! You might not know me yet, but once you open the pages of this book you’ll laugh so hard that snot will come out of your nose (plus you might meet a dragon and a zombie – what more could you want?).

My parents decided it would be a good idea to move house AND move me to a new school at the same time. As if I didn’t have a hard enough time staying out of trouble at home, now I’ve also got to try and make new friends. What’s worse, the class bully seems to think I’m the perfect target.

At least Eid’s around the corner which means a feast (YAY) and presents (DOUBLE YAY). Well, as long as I can stay in Mum and Dad’s good books long enough…

This book is a fictional story, and the character that I like best is Omar because he is very kind and imaginative. Additionally, he rescued Daniel, the bully, and himself from getting lost at the train station. I would recommend this book to people who are fans of 'Loki' and 'The Diary of a Wimpy Kid' books.

It is a fiction book and my favourite character is Omar and Daniel because they work together to go home though they are missing out on their school trip. It interest me because it teaches children that being different isn’t a band thing. I would recommend to people who like comics and really funny books.

Yes would recommend. I liked Charlie the most because of his toothy smile.

It was amazing

This book was amazing! It dealt with hard topics in a way that children would and it was very representative of the Muslim experience. I loved the character of Omar who was so relatable and funny and I found the growth of characters throughout the book to be amazing. It truly showed that kindness is the best way forward.

I loved this book and my favorite character is Omar. The book is about Omar starting a new school but a bully named Daniel bullies Omar until they both get lost in London. The two boys become friends in the end . I would recommend this book.

I really liked the part when they were trying to get away from the zombie. I would recommend it to a seven-year old person.

The book is sooo good .Love it .

It was great! It's so nice to see different religions and a very relatable plot also H20 in general is So cool! I honestly adore this book but why I put 4* is because I feel like it was extremely disrespectful that they said that the poor old man was a zombie,if I was there In real life I'd tell him it's a poor man from the beginning

It was about a boy who goes missing with a bully called Daniel.
